The area of Manikia-Vrisi and wider region of Kimi is located in Evia island, just a 2 hours drive from Athens.
It consists of a large number of traditional villages and offers a variety of outdoor activities.
By staying in the various traditional settlements, the visitor can enjoy the beauty of Greek nature, climb the imposing rocks, walk the paths, explore waterfalls and springs, follow cycling routes or just relax and enjoy the beaches and the local gastronomy.
Please avoid wild camping and let’s follow all safety procedures (e.g. no fire, no waste, etc.).
In keeping with the philosophy of this project, we must respect all natural and human environments
(land properties, wildlife, fields, herds, paths).

Manikia Project is the non-profit association of the inhabitants of all villages of the wider Manikia – Vrisi – Kimi area.
The goal is through the joint effort of all of us to highlight the unique beauties of this place and the multiple options for outdoor activities that it has to offer to visitors. Climbing, hiking, cycling, speleology, swimming are some of the activities that the area can offer and through all of them to support the economic, social and cultural development of our place.
