That, of course, depends on the routes you choose to climb. It is good to have an 80 meters rope for the sport routes and two of 60 meters ropes for the multipitch routes. For sure, there are many routes for which an 60 meters rope is perfect.

Drilling as you know is not so simple. If you are familiar with the procedure, then you can indeed take a drill, 10 plaquettes and make a route.
